This FAQ is for users of Pair Networks WWW accounts who have selected to have their Americart account billed monthly along with their Pair account.

Q:
Does this FAQ page contain everything I need to know to use Americart?

A:
No. This page deals only with questions related directly to the Pair Networks/Americart/Pair user relationship.

Q:
How do I make sure that I don't get billed both by Pair and by Americart?

A:
There is an account creation/configuration form specifically used for those being billed via Pair's billing system. The URL is: https://www.cartserver.com/config/p-config-p.html. From that form, you will receive a special cart-id code, beginning with "p". That will insure that things will work as they are intended to.

Q:
Why are Americart and Pair offering this deal?

A:
We are both in the business of providing service to you, website developers and owners. Our offerings complement one another, and so the relationship is good for all concerned.

In fact, our shopping cart servers, www.cartserver.com, www2.cartserver.com, and search.cartserver.com are pair Networks "Quickserve" machines purchased outright by Americart. We started out our service with Pair in 1996 on their very first web server, and time and again they have proved their loyalty, ethics, and technical competence. If you're new to Pair, rest assured that you've made a good choice.

Q:
If I have trouble getting Americart to work, should I contact Pair support?

A:
No. We provide all application support for operation of Americart. The only time such an email to support at pair would be in order is if www.cartserver.com is totally unreachable, and other pair machines are reachable.

Q:

Can I sign-up with Americart without being billed via Pair?

A:
Yes. Use the non-pair configuration form at: http://www.cartserver.com/config/a-config-a.html You will then receive a cart-id beginning with an "a", and receive a bill directly from Americart.

Q:
I haven't signed up to use Americart via the Pair on-line sign-up or upgrade system yet, but plan to do so. Can I create my Americart account now?

A:
You should sign up via Pair first, since an unauthorized account will stop working without warning.

Q:
I'm going to need more than one Americart account. Can I have more than one cart billed via pair?

A:
Yes. If you have a single pair account, but need multiple Americart accounts, simply add Americart to via the pair "account upgrade" system; one upgrade per Americart needed.

The number of Americarts you create must NOT exceed the number in pair billing, or they will appear as unauthorized, and stop working without warning.

Q:
Do I still need to buy the secure server option at Pair to use with Americart?

A:
No. The checkout pages use our secure server and certificate.

Q:
What account level at Pair Networks do I need to use Americart?

A:
Any level of account will work with our service, just as our service will work with any level of web account on ANY server.
